Governing Council holds sixth regular meeting

The JSW Law Governing Council, the highest governing body of the law school, today met for its sixth regular meeting.  Topics for discussion included progress on construction of the law school’s permanent campus in Pangbisa, fundraising and international activities of the law school, and planning for the school’s upcoming second round of admissions.

Chaired by the Chief Justice of Bhutan, Lyonpo Tshering Wangchuk, the Governing Council also includes the Attorney General, Shera Lhundup, and senior officials from across the government of Bhutan.  Dean Sangay Dorjee and Registrar Phuntsho Wangmo also sit on the Governing Council; the faculty is represented by Vice Dean Michael Peil, and the student body is represented by its elected member, (Ms) Kuenley Lhaden Gyaltshen.
