The JSW Law Admissions Committee announced the fifty finalists for the second entering class of law students at Bhutan’s first law school. The finalists, who were selected based upon their Grade XII examination scores and their performance on a nationwide Law School Admission Test, will now travel to Thimphu for one-hour interviews with the members of the Admissions Committee.
The finalists hail from eighteen of Bhutan’s twenty Dzongkhags and represent 28 of Bhutan’s 58 high schools. 31 are female and 19 are male.
The Admissions Committee expects to complete candidate interviews and announce its decisions by Wednesday, 28 February, in advance of the national overseas scholarships announcements from the Department of Adult & Higher Education of the Ministry of Education.
