JSW Law faculty, students attend Winter Course in Kathmandu

Ms.Tshering Dolkar, junior lecturer in environmental law, is accompanying five second-year law students in Nepal to attend the 13th annual Economic, Social & Development Rights Winter School at Kathmandu School of Law.  The Winter School marks the first time JSW Law students have traveled abroad to represent the law school. 

Ms. Tshering is serving as a lecturer and facilitator during the course, which involves 42 students from around the world, while the five students are taking classes from her and from other lecturers from across the globe. 

The five students – Jigme Namgyel, Karma Lhazin, Kuenley Lhaden Gyaltshen, Leki Tshering, and Tshedrup Zangmo – will be in Nepal for three weeks.  Michael Peil, the Vice Dean, will join the delegation in Nepal for the last week of the Winter Course.
