Prof. Judy Stark at the13th Global Legal Skills Conference in Melbourne, Australia

Professor Judy Stark, the Associate Dean for Library & Information Services, spoke today at the 13th Global Legal Skills Conference in Melbourne, Australia, on the topic of “Legal Writing on a Clean Slate: Creating a Legal Research & Writing Curriculum for Bhutan’s First Law School.” 

The paper was co-authored and co-presented by Professor David Austin (California Western School of Law, USA), who was a Fulbright Specialist at JSW Law during the inaugural Autumn semester of 2017. Professors Judy and David co-designed and taught the law school’s first Legal Composition & Rhetoric course together.  The Global Legal Skills Conference was founded by Professor Mark Wojcik (John Marshall Law School, USA), who was also a Fulbright Specialist during the Autumn of 2017.
