Dean re-appointed for a second term

Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, the Honourable President of JSW School of Law (JSW Law), re-appointed Sangay Dorjee as the Dean for a second term. He is also the Project Director of JSW Law Project at Pangbisa, Paro.
Sangay Dorjee was appointed as Founding Dean of the first-ever law school in Bhutan on 10 May 2016, after having served as the Director-General of Royal Institute of Law since 2013. Prior to his first appointment as the Founding Dean of JSW Law, he served for numerous years as a senior bureaucrat in the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MoLHR) and Ministry of Education (MoE).
In accordance with the Statutes of JSW Law, the Dean is appointed by the Honourable President from a list of names recommended by the Governing Council. The Dean is the academic head and chief executive officer of JSW Law.
The re-appointment Tendrel was graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, attended by the Chief Justice of Bhutan, Lyonpo Chogyal Dago Rigdzin, and by staff and student representatives of JSW Law.
