Migmar Lham is a Junior Lecturer for Corporate Law and Social Enterprise Clinic at JSW Law from January 2021. Before joining the law school, she works as a Senior Legal Officer at Bhutan Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre. She completed her law degree from the CMR Law School under Karnataka State Law University, Bangalore, India in 2014 and completed her Postgraduate Diploma in National Law (PGDNL) in 2018 from Royal Institute of Management (RIM). She also completed internships at Royal Court of Justice, Law Firm, and Mighty Grace Charitable Trust while she was still studying her undergraduate studies.
She has served as a panellist for Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of Bhutan 2013’s Talk Show host by Bhutan Broadcasting Service (Dzongkha and English) in 2019 and a drafting member of the first ‘ADR Rules and Regulations. She represented Bhutan ADR Centre to Dhaka, Bangladesh for training on ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution’ organized by Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre in 2019.
She is also a Certified Mediator by Bhutan National Legal Institute in 2017.
